Across TCGA patient cohorts, MARCO mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 3,031 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MARCO-associated genes across cancer lineages are SKA2, CENPN, and DTYMK. Each is linked with MARCO in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MARCO-to-partner and partner-to-MARCO results are reported.
