Across TCGA patient cohorts, MARCO mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 38 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MARCO-associated genes across cancer lineages are MEK1, JAB1, and Rb_pS807_S811. Each is linked with MARCO in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MARCO-to-partner and partner-to-MARCO results are reported.
