Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MARCHF2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MARCHF2 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher MARCHF2 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MARCHF2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC are the cancer types where MARCHF2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
