Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MAPKAPK2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MAPKAPK2 data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher MAPKAPK2 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MAPKAPK2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PDAC show a favorable association.

COAD, UCEC, and GBM are the cancer types where MAPKAPK2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
