Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MAPKAP1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MAPKAP1 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher MAPKAP1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MAPKAP1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUAD, STAD, and LUSC are the cancer types where MAPKAP1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
