Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MAPK8IP1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MAPK8IP1 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher MAPK8IP1 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MAPK8IP1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUAD, LSCC, and GBM are the cancer types where MAPK8IP1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
