Across TCGA patient cohorts, MAPK4 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 2,039 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MAPK4-associated genes across cancer lineages are RAD51, AKT2, and GTF2H1. Each is linked with MAPK4 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MAPK4-to-partner and partner-to-MAPK4 results are reported.
