Across TCGA patient cohorts, MAPK1 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 16,125 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MAPK1-associated genes across cancer lineages are SPECC1L, PEA15, and UBE2L3. Each is linked with MAPK1 in more than 5 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MAPK1-to-partner and partner-to-MAPK1 results are reported.
