Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MAP7D2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MAP7D2 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher MAP7D2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MAP7D2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LIHC, UCEC, and THCA are the cancer types where MAP7D2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
