Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MAP6D1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MAP6D1 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), where higher MAP6D1 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MAP6D1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
GBM are the cancer types where MAP6D1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
