Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MAP4K2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MAP4K2 data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher MAP4K2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MAP4K2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LUSC, PRAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where MAP4K2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
