Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MAP2K7 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 9 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MAP2K7 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher MAP2K7 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MAP2K7 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and BLCA show a favorable association.
HNSC, THYM, and LIHC are the cancer types where MAP2K7 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
