Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MAP2K5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MAP2K5 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher MAP2K5 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MAP2K5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA show a favorable association.
ESCA, BLCA, and UCEC are the cancer types where MAP2K5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
