Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MAP2K5 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MAP2K5 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher MAP2K5 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MAP2K5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC show a favorable association.
LSCC, LUAD, and HNSC are the cancer types where MAP2K5 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
