Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MAP2K1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MAP2K1 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher MAP2K1 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MAP2K1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LSCC show a favorable association.
LUAD, CCRCC, and PDAC are the cancer types where MAP2K1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
