Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MAP2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MAP2 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher MAP2 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MAP2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and HNSC show a favorable association.
UCEC, LIHC, and LUAD are the cancer types where MAP2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
