Across TCGA patient cohorts, MAOA protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 11,513 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MAOA-associated genes across cancer lineages are CDCA4, NCAPG, and ANLN. Each is linked with MAOA in more than 5 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MAOA-to-partner and partner-to-MAOA results are reported.
