Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MANSC1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MANSC1 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher MANSC1 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MANSC1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD and PDAC show a favorable association.
LSCC, COAD, and PDAC are the cancer types where MANSC1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
