Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MANBAL Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MANBAL data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher MANBAL Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MANBAL expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC are the cancer types where MANBAL Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
