Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MAN1A2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MAN1A2 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher MAN1A2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MAN1A2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LIHC, UCEC, and SKCM are the cancer types where MAN1A2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
