Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MAN1A2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MAN1A2 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher MAN1A2 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MAN1A2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.

LSCC, HNSC, and PDAC are the cancer types where MAN1A2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
