Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MAMSTR RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MAMSTR data layer compared with 3 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher MAMSTR RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MAMSTR expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UVM and HNSC show a favorable association.
UVM, BLCA, and HNSC are the cancer types where MAMSTR RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
