Across TCGA cell cohorts, MAL RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 2,276 significant associations in total. BLOOD_Leukemia shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MAL-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Regulation of mRNA splicing, via spliceosome, Positive regulation of post-translational protein modification, and Energy derivation by oxidation of organic compounds. Each is linked with MAL in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MAL-to-partner and partner-to-MAL results are reported.
