Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MAK16 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MAK16 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher MAK16 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MAK16 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SCLC and LGG are the cancer types where MAK16 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
