Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MAGEL2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 12 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MAGEL2 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in thymoma (THYM), where higher MAGEL2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MAGEL2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.

THYM, DLBC, and BRCA are the cancer types where MAGEL2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
