Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MAGED2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MAGED2 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher MAGED2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MAGED2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
COAD, UCEC, and THCA are the cancer types where MAGED2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
