Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MAGEB5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MAGEB5 data layer compared with 13 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in sarcoma (SARC), where higher MAGEB5 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MAGEB5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SARC are the cancer types where MAGEB5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
