Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MAGEB2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MAGEB2 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher MAGEB2 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MAGEB2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LSCC and HNSC are the cancer types where MAGEB2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
