Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MAGEA4 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MAGEA4 data layer compared with 14 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher MAGEA4 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MAGEA4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as OV show a favorable association.

HNSC, OV, and LUAD are the cancer types where MAGEA4 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
