Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MAGEA12 RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MAGEA12 data layer compared with 9 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher MAGEA12 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MAGEA12 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PAAD and BLCA show a favorable association.

KIRP, COAD, and PAAD are the cancer types where MAGEA12 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
