MAF

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, MAF mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 4,907 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MAF-associated genes across cancer lineages are TUBGCP5, UHRF1, and H2AC14. Each is linked with MAF in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MAF-to-partner and partner-to-MAF results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, TUBGCP5 grouped by MAF-low versus MAF-high in UCEC.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (MAF→partner) and Y-score (partner→MAF) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
