Across TCGA cell cohorts, MAF mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 2 significant associations in total. BLOOD_Myeloma shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible MAF-associated genes across cancer lineages are NEUROD4 and GLOD5. Each is linked with MAF in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MAF-to-partner and partner-to-MAF results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, NEUROD4 grouped by MAF-low versus MAF-high in BLOOD_Myeloma.
