Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MAD1L1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MAD1L1 data layer compared with 31 for mass-spec protein and 10 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher MAD1L1 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MAD1L1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LSCC and OV show a favorable association.

HNSC, LSCC, and PDAC are the cancer types where MAD1L1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
