Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LZTS3 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated LZTS3 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher LZTS3 mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LZTS3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and LSCC show a favorable association.
CCRCC, PDAC, and LSCC are the cancer types where LZTS3 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
