Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LZTFL1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated LZTFL1 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher LZTFL1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LZTFL1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC and SKCM are the cancer types where LZTFL1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
