Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LYPLAL1-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated LYPLAL1-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in thymoma (THYM), where higher LYPLAL1-AS1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LYPLAL1-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BRCA and OV show a favorable association.

THYM, UCS, and BRCA are the cancer types where LYPLAL1-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
