Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LYPD6B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated LYPD6B data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher LYPD6B Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LYPD6B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LUAD, LGG, and UCEC are the cancer types where LYPD6B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
