Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LYPD6 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated LYPD6 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher LYPD6 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LYPD6 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
SKCM, LGG, and UCEC are the cancer types where LYPD6 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
