Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LYAR mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated LYAR data layer compared with 30 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher LYAR mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LYAR expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LSCC and UCEC show a favorable association.

CCRCC, PDAC, and LUAD are the cancer types where LYAR mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
