Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LY86-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 18 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated LY86-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher LY86-AS1 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LY86-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and LUAD show a favorable association.

HNSC, LUAD, and UVM are the cancer types where LY86-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
