Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LY6H RNA is linked to patient survival in 26 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated LY6H data layer compared with 1 for mutation status and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher LY6H RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LY6H expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LGG and THYM show a favorable association.
KIRP, LUSC, and LIHC are the cancer types where LY6H RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
