Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LY6E RNA is linked to patient survival in 28 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated LY6E data layer compared with 2 for mutation status and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine carcinosarcoma (UCS), where higher LY6E RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LY6E expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as THCA and LUAD show a favorable association.
UCS, PAAD, and KIRP are the cancer types where LY6E RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
