Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LY6E Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated LY6E data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher LY6E Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LY6E expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
CESC and UCEC are the cancer types where LY6E Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
