Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LY6D RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated LY6D data layer compared with 3 for mutation status and 5 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PAAD), where higher LY6D RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LY6D expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ACC and LGG show a favorable association.

PAAD, UVM, and ACC are the cancer types where LY6D RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
