Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LY6D Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated LY6D data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher LY6D Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LY6D expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC, SKCM, and PRAD are the cancer types where LY6D Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
