Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LURAP1L-AS1 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 11 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of LURAP1L-AS1’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where LURAP1L-AS1 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types LURAP1L-AS1 is over-expressed in tumor.

STAD, KICH, and KIRP are the cancer types where LURAP1L-AS1 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
