Across TCGA patient cohorts, LUM protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 18,467 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible LUM-associated genes across cancer lineages are MGP, C7, and PDGFRB. Each is linked with LUM in more than 9 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both LUM-to-partner and partner-to-LUM results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, LUM versus MGP in COAD, with a Pearson correlation of 0.79.
