Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LUCAT1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 28 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated LUCAT1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher LUCAT1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LUCAT1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD and UCEC show a favorable association.

KIRP, KIRC, and KICH are the cancer types where LUCAT1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
