Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LUC7L Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated LUC7L data layer compared with 18 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher LUC7L Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LUC7L expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
BLCA, UCEC, and SKCM are the cancer types where LUC7L Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
