Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LTC4S Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated LTC4S data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher LTC4S Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LTC4S expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

ESCA and PRAD are the cancer types where LTC4S Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
